Arne B. Corneliussen acquires Norstamp

Arne B. Corneliussen AS (“ABC”) has signed and completed an agreement to acquire Norstamp AS (“Norstamp”) from Stormbull AS. Norstamp delivers labelling and packaging solutions to the Norwegian market.

ABC, an Orkla Food Ingredients subsidiary, has agreed to purchase 100% of the shares in Norstamp.

Norstamp, which will remain an independent operation after the acquisition, is a well-established supplier of labelling and packaging solutions. In addition to in-house digital label production, the company operates its own design department and offers a broad range of packaging products. Norstamp generated revenues of NOK 44 million in 2022, has eight employees and is based in Stokke, Vestfold.

“Norstamp’s portfolio complements our own. This transaction will enable us to expand our product offering to customers and reinforce our position as a partner for the meat and fish industries. We also expect to realise synergies with our fellow subsidiary Bako, a major supplier of packaging and decoration products for the bakeries,” says ABC CEO Roar Furuhaug.

“We have been building Norstamp’s position as a reliable supplier of packaging solutions for the Norwegian food industry for over 10 years, and the company now has a broad portfolio of customers from across the country, ranging from a small cheese factory in Brimiland to some of Norway’s largest meat producers. Together with ABC, we will refine and expand Norstamp into a full-range supplier of solutions that meet customer needs,” says Norstamp general manager Bjørn Moi.

The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
